The Malaya restaurant at Cockle Bay is a pioneer of Sydney dining. Established in the 1960’s, it was one of the first to offer Sydneysiders spicy South East Asian cuisine.

Following a change of ownership, we assisted in repositioning the restaurant's brand. Integral to this was the creation of an evocative visual identity based on the Malaysian 14-pointed star and a wok over a burner. The symbol is an iconic representation of the tantalising tastes for which the restaurant is renowned.
