Audistry is an ‘ingredient’ audio technology developed by iconic international brand, Dolby (USA), to deliver a surround sound effect with normal audio speakers, while allowing a high degree of customisation of the experience by the user.

Following extensive market research in the USA and Japan that extracted the essence of what the technology meant to the consumer, a branding platform was developed in association with SAI Marketing Counsel, to facilitate development of the most appropriate visual identity. Based on the nautilus shell and its natural ability to modify and reproduce sound, the resulting identity is evocative of the technology’s ability to dynamically alter the way in which the user perceives sound. Apart from researching extremely well among target consumers, the uniquely styled identity was readily accepted by device manufacturers and now features prominently on audio visual hardware in Europe, Asia and USA.
