SummitCare Baulkham Hills is a 232-bed residential aged care facility, providing high- and low-care accommodation, and specialist dementia and palliative care services.
As the flagship facility in SummitCare’s aged care portfolio, Baulkham Hills represents a luxurious care environment. On-site facilities include a café, beauty salons, a wellness centre, media rooms and family accommodation.
Working with the project manager, Donald Cant Watts Corke, SummitCare Australia, and Richard Crookes Construction, we conducted detailed user analysis to determine appropriate formats, functions and locations for the extensive range of operational and wayfinding signage.
Selected materials and finishes deliver an elegant and cohesive wayfinding system across the facility’s three levels. Directional, residential hub and memory box room identification feature floating dress timber accent and powder coated, messaging panels.
We were responsible for design and delivery of all wayfinding and statutory signage throughout the building and exterior precinct, along with careful management of manufacture and installation.
